Join us for an exciting opportunity to help protect Pennsylvania's great natural heritage on Monday, November 14 at 6 p.m. the Dickinson College campus in Carlisle.

Cumberland County is lucky to have some of the most scenic rivers and streams and great surrounding open spaces and family farms. Yet these places are threatened by erosion, pollution and other issues.

Growing Greener, the funding source for many environmental and community improvement projects, is running out of money.

Join us in Carlisle on Monday November 14th at 6 pm to learn more about the Growing Greener program and how you can help protect our great natural heritage.

WHAT: Carlisle Meetup to Protect Our Natural Heritage
WHERE: Dickinson College, Althouse, Room 201, Carlisle, PA
WHEN: Monday November 14th, 6pm to 9pm

The training is part of a statewide project launched by PennEnvironment to train Pennsylvanians to help protect our state's natural heritage. Whether you're new to activism or been on the frontlines of preservation issues, this meet up will help you take the cause to the next level.

You'll learn from our staff and other organizers in the area how to effectively engage with decision makers on these issues, generate media coverage, and how to lobby your elected officials to protect Pennsylvania's natural heritage.
