Green Infrastructure Network

Parent Project:

The Green Infrastructure Network is a voluntary partnership of more than 35 organizations, businesses, academia, authorities, and government units who recognize the benefits of using green infrastructure in managing Allegheny County’s stormwater. The Network encourages the use of green infrastructure over gray infrastructure where feasible. Network members are cataloging existing green infrastructure in the region and developing standardized monitoring protocols to document its effectiveness. A catalog of regional Green Infrastructure sites can be found on an interactive map at www.pag4g.org.

The Green Infrastructure Network is coordinated by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and 3 Rivers Wet Weather.  Meetings are held quarterly.  To be added to the Green Infrastructure Network list, contact Janie French (jfrench@pecpa.org).
