Megan Gonzales

In January 2011, Megan Gonzales joined the Southeast Regional Office as a project manager. She is working on trail connection projects for East Coast Greenway and eco-restorations along the Delaware River. She is also working on stormwater quality projects including basin retrofits and mowing to meadows initiatives. As registered landscape architect trained at the University of Pennsylvania, Megan focuses on built works of sustainable design in the public and private sector. Prior to joining the team at PEC, she worked for Richard Burck Associates in MA on innovative water harvesting systems for street trees, rain gardens on brownfield sites and native planting projects. She is a LEED AP and has worked on several projects seeking LEED certification. Megan has cultivated a love of plants, landscape and the environment from an early age. She received a BS in environmental horticulture from University of New Hampshire while working on a sustainably-managed orchard and farm. Away from the office she enjoys hiking, growing plants, cooking and spending time outdoors with her family.
