Application Deadline Extended for Catawissa Creek Watershed Grant Program
The Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC) is pleased to announce a grant program for the Catawissa Creek Watershed. The Catawissa Creek Watershed Rivers Conservation Assistance Program (RCAP) is a program designed to support the implementation of the recently completed Catawissa Creek Watershed Rivers Conservation Plan (RCP). The purpose of the RCP was to identify significant existing natural, recreational and cultural resources within the Watershed and recommend methods to conserve, enhance and restore the Watershed.
The RCAP is supported with funding from PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The grant program could help fund projects identified in the RCP, such as trails and parks, open space preservation, stream bank erosion, and water quality issues within the Catawissa Creek Watershed.
