Laurel Highlands CLI partners have scheduled a forum to garner feedback on the Laurel Ridge Interpretive Plan. The session will be held Monday, Nov. 16, from 9:30 to noon at the Fred Rogers Center at St. Vincent College along Route 30 near Latrobe.
The interpretive plan focuses in large part on state lands but looks also to linkages and common themes along or near Laurel Ridge. It was developed by DCNR with input from partner sites. The forum will feature a presentation on the recently completed plan and will involve discussion about which recommendations in the plan should be prioritized. The final plan will be posted on the Laurel Highlands web sites of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and the DCNR.
Reservations are required and can be made by e-mailing Brad Clemenson at bclemenson@pecpa.org, or call (814) 539-1889, ext. 307.
