Policy

Since its founding in 1970, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council has been a recognized leader and consensus builder on policy issues both in Harrisburg and in Washington D.C. PEC has been a key participant in several landmark policy initiatives in the Commonwealth including brownfield remediation, alternative energy development, stream protection, land use management and conservation, and funding for recreation, community, and environmental initiatives.
